High volume discharge
Volume of air can be discharged
from large orifice when the pipeline
is filled water. The lift valve is down
with the large air vent wide open. |
Filling condition
Water enters the interior via surrounding
small orifices inside the valve when
flowing into the air release valve.
The mobile valve lifts to close the
air vent and avoid water leakage. |
Low volume discharge
In the pipeline filled with water,
the float drops with water going
down to open the small air vent
for low volume air discharge. The
float low volume air discharge.
The float rises after air discharge
is completed, to close the small air
vent. The process will be repeated
air vent. The process will be repeated
to release the air in the pipeline. |
Air intake
When water is forced out of the pipeline
the mobile valve and float drop, opening
the large air vent with high volume
air intake. This movement will
improve efficiency of water release
and lower the pipeline pressure
to avoid damage. |
